It’s a showdown – chicken soup vs mac & cheese!
I conducted a purely unscientific pole with the EIEO community last December. The question was “What food immediately comes to mind when I say ‘Comfort Food’?
I thought I would get all sorts of answers from chocolate to nuts to chips – I was wrong. Overwhelmingly there are two camps when it comes to food that make us feel ‘safe’, ‘better’, ‘warm’ and ‘cozy’. You know, that food you crave when you have the sniffles, or when you tripped and skinned your knee. Always delicious, filling and satisfying.
Team #1 strongly craves a gooey helping of Mac & Cheese.
Team #2 is convinced of the soothing goodness of Chicken Noodle Soup.
