In a large bowl, soak the dried fruits in the tea. Leave at least 6 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Grease 12-cup muffin tin.
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. In separate bowl, beat egg and melted butter. Add the fruit (well strained) and mix to blend.
Add flour and mix just until blended. Don't over mix!
Spoon into prepared muffin tin (you can add a foil-wrapped quarter to one of then for fun..). Bake for 30 minutes or until golden in colour. Allow to cool and enjoy!
