Toss all ingredients in a bowl. Spread out on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast at 450ºF for 40 minutes. STIR EVERY 10 MINUTES AND WATCH NOT TO BURN.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. This mixture can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for 10 days.
To Assemble Canapés: On a small crisp bread, spread a thin layer of goat cheese. Cover with a tsp of filling. Top with a sprinkle of shredded Asiago cheese and freshly cracked pepper.
