THE SPRING ISSUE IS ONLINE AND IT’S ALL ABOUT HEALTHY EATING

At this point, bringing up the fact that this was the coldest February in Toronto – ON RECORD – is just pushing salt into an old wound. Let’s instead think ‘happy’ thoughts of tulips, green grass and fresh local produce… ahh… Spring at last! Even though I love my crock pot, rich comfort foods and hot cocoa, it’s time to set them aside and make room for the first of the 2015 harvest… can’t wait!

We’ve worked hard put together a wonderful Eat In Eat Out Magazine – Spring 2015 issue with healthy and creative recipes that will inspire you to eat right. Take a look…

Layout 1 Great cover this time, right? Who doesn’t love an udon noodle bowl, when it’s sweet and spicy at the same time. This recipe brings partners in nature, canola oil and the sweet goodness of honey, together to make special magic.

Healthy Takeout We all love takeout, it’s fast and easy. Our West Coast Editor, Stephanie, took on the challenge of giving a few of your favourites a healthy makeover. This Turkey Taco Salad is just a teaser…

Fermented Foods What’s one of the hottest food trends in 2015? Fermented Foods! With the help of Kelly, our East Coast Editor, The Canadian Health Food Association and Zannat our Nutrition Editor, they guide you through this trend with all the nutrition facts along with six delicious recipes.

Plate Portions Let’s welcome back Joyce, from Canada Beef, who is back with a great story on plate portions, recipes and a free app to help you learn how to cook beef right.

Last but not least, there is a great new contest and an opportunity for you to tell us all about your favourite food bloggers. Enjoy every page (CLICK HERE TO READ NOW!), and please share it with … well… everyone! ENJOY!!
