Don’t skip this recipe just because kids love them, the ‘big’ kids in the family will love them too!
Take advantage of local autumn pears by whipping up a few of these Grab & Go Healthy Breakfast Wraps. If that’s not your thing in the morning, they also make a healthy mid-afternoon “pick-me-up” snack for work or after-school.
I love a recipe that calls for only a few simple ingredients that I always have on hand. These Grab & Go Healthy Breakfast Wraps are a super-healthy way to start the day, or a guilt-free afternoon snack we can all feel good about.
- 1 whole wheat or ancient grain tortilla
- 2 Tbsp almond or cashew butter
- ½ banana, sliced
- 2-3 slices ripe pear (Bosc or Bartlet)
- 1 Tbsp walnuts, chopped
- agave syrup (optional)
- Spread nut butter over tortilla. Layer on banana, pears and walnuts. Drizzle with agave, if using. Roll up into tight into wrap.
