Close to the end of the week and need a little extra boost? Come and get your Morning BUZZ Expresso Smoothie…

Some days you just need a brain-clearing, coffee-filled caffeine boost… or is that every day? I’m not serving up just any plain cup of coffee here, it’s a protein-packed, good-for you way to get things started. Loaded with almond milk, banana and a big hit of espresso, this Morning BUZZ Expresso Smoothie is an awesome way to amp-up your day!

Morning BUZZ Expresso Protein Smoothie_1 Don’t let the BUZZ in this smoothie turn you off the recipe. I’ve made it many times in the afternoon with DECAF dark coffee, and it’s still amazing. Great when you feel your energy sagging at 3:00 and need a quick pick-me-up.

Morning BUZZ Expresso Protein Smoothie_2 Did you notice the really yummy cookies I have placed near my smoothie? Those are my super-healthy Grab-and-go Breakfast Cookies! They’re a great make-ahead way to have a satisfying meal when there’s no time to sit down. I make a batch, tuck them away in the freezer and that way when I need breakfast or a snack on the run, I’m ready!

I hope you are making a pun with “expresso” meaning it’s extra quick to make. If not, the correct word is espresso.
