THE HOLIDAY 2016 ISSUE IS NOW ONLINE AND IT’S ALL ABOUT ENTERTAINING!
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! Where has the time gone?
Let’s celebrate our anniversary by taking a walk down memory lane in the 2016 Holiday Entertaining issue. I’ve curated some of our best recipes for you to enjoy one more time. We’ve also added lots of new seasonal recipes that will help you entertain in style. It’s our biggest issue of the year, packed with delicious recipes for appetizers, mains, decadent desserts and heavenly holiday cookies…. let the party begin!
As I looked back at 21 issues with 800+ recipes over the past five years, it was hard to select only a few to feature as Our Best Holiday and Our Best Cookie recipes. I’ve selected my personal favourites from some of our A-List sponsors and contributors and it’s a joy to share them with you again.
What’s new in this issue? Well let’s begin with Stephanie who baked up delicious Holiday Breads that you can make for family and friends. This No-Knead Cranberry Walnut Bread is a delicious way to share the love this season.
I’m sure many of you are looking forward to roasting a delicious holiday turkey, am I right? Traditional turkey dinner may be my favourite meal – ever. The second best part about cooking this glorious bird, is the leftovers! In my feature, In Praise of Leftover Turkey, I bring you three tasty meal ideas made quick and easy by using up the leftover cooked meat.
Not to be left out, Kelly joins us with another great feature. She would like you to cozy-up over the holidays by making some hearty Winter Soups. This Smokey-Lentil, Corn & Andouille Chowder is tummy-warming delicious.
We also have the 5 Healthiest Holiday Ingredients, 3 new cookbooks, peanut candy recipes and some delicious holiday cocktails.
It’s been a joy publishing this online interactive magazine for the past 5 years. I hope you enjoy every page of our final issue (CLICK HERE TO READ NOW!), and please share it with everyone. I look forward to continuing to share more delicious recipes with you each week here on the EIEO blog in 2017. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
