This Godiva® copycat recipe is cold, creamy and delicious!
It’s really hot out, it must be summer! Time to mix up a frosty treat that will cool you down from the inside out! O.K. I may be a bit late to the party but… OMG have you tried Godiva® frozen shakes? They are so good, I decided to come up with a recipe to make them myself, right at home!
Let’s go back a bit to the first time I tried them. It was on a trip to New York City in 2012. I remember standing in Rockefeller Plaza sipping on pure heaven… I can still taste it! Here in Toronto, the Godiva stores in the mall didn’t always serve them in 2012, I guess they figure Canada is more of a hot, hot chocolate kinda place. Now that it’s 2016, you can get your Godiva drink in the mall, but it’s just as easy to make it at home!
I decided to come up with this ‘copycat’ recipe that can be made at home. It had to be quick, easy and just as delicious as the original. The result is so crazy good you’ve got to give it a try. Thank me later… enjoy!
