It’s almost October, that’s pumpkin time! Here’s my list of a few Perfect Pumpkin Recipes to kick the season off right.
This time of year everyone goes pumpkin crazy. No wonder, not only does this tasty veg make an awesome Thanksgiving pie, it’s the perfect base for soup, moist muffins, creamy pasta sauce and much more. Let’s get started with 10 of my favourite pumpkin recipes:
Pumpkin Zucchini Loaf with Streusel Topping – This is a perfect fall loaf – moist cake, warm mix of spices and a touch of crunchy topping. Plus, it’s got my old friend ‘zucchini’ what would fall be without you?
Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Marble Cake – Pumpkin and chocolate just seem to go together. Perfect partners for a bundt cake that everyone will love.
Soft Pumpkin Spice Cookies – from Seasons and Suppers – I love a super soft cookie and this one is full of fall flavour.
5 Ingredient Pumpkin Alfredo – from Pinch of Yum – creamy, luscious, and so super simple. Perfect fall comfort food.
Spiced Pumpkin Cake with Molasses Cream Cheese and Ginger Snaps – This has to be one of my favourite cakes of all time… and I should know, I’ve made a ton of cake. The combination of pumpkin spice, cream cheese and the crunch of ginger snaps is amazing. A must-try!
Coconut Pumpkin Soup – The perfect touch of fall. A warm, rich soup with a hint of spice is the perfect comfort food.
Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pancakes – from With Salt and Wit – These gluten-free pumpkin pancakes look super fluffy, and have a touch of sweetness with a finish of coconut. A must try!
Pumpkin Ale Mac and Cheese with Pretzel Breadcrumbs – from Whole Bite – OMG I have to try this delicious take on traditional mac & cheese!
Pumpkin & Chocolate Layer Cake with Whipped Brown Sugar Frosting – This frosting is really different, it totally brings all the flavours of this layer cake together. The result is a real show-stopper, perfect for the centre of your Thanksgiving table.
Pumpkin Muffins with a Spooky Twist – My Mom’s recipes are always the best, that’s a given. I took her famous Pumpkin Muffins and added a Halloween twist of my own. Enjoy!
